Current Activities at Fatehgunj
The activities at Fatehgunj are managed by trust ‘Baba Parasramsaheb Mission’. Here, daily about 500 to 700 people are served with freshly cooked hygienic food comprising of unlimited whole meal which rotationally includes sweets, fresh fruits, dairy products, bakery items, tea, sweet syrups, packaged foods and various other delicious vegetarian recipes without any discrimination of cast, religion, etc. On festive occasions, people are served in various other ways like providing clothes, stationary to children, books, seasonal goods. Cows, Dogs, Birds, Water creatures are also being served with grass, milk, bread, grains, potable water etc. While doing all these activities, underlying good practices of hygiene, ethics, moral principles, cleanliness, conservation of food and environment, patriotism and social behavior are instilled. The serving team includes people belonging to all walks of the life, including the notable and illustrious people like doctors, engineers, educationalists, CA’s, businessman, industrialists, builders, bureaucrat, officers, professionals, political figures, advocates, spiritual and social leaders, students, etc. The other services include providing food through tiffin service to about 100 old and weak people on daily basis. The trust in collaboration with other trusts also serves morning breakfast and fresh fruit to 500 to 600 patients at GMERS, Gotri Hospital.
